It is mid-term election time and I have noticed in our state (MN) as least that the materials we are receiving from those running for office are noticeably missing information on which party they represent. Are we to assume that the color of the flyer or the yard sign should clue us in? Or are they afraid we won't vote for them if the proudly say they are Republic, Democrat, Independent or Tea Party Republican?

It is frustrating to have to Google a candidate to determine their party affiliations. It is also disconcerting that they want to distance themselves from their party affiliations to draw voters in who may not like their party affiliation. What ever happened to proudly standing for what you believe in and letting your potential constituents know your beliefs?

The political climate is frustrating and disturbing. I am not sure I want to vote anymore. Why bother when even those running are ashamed of the parties they are affiliated with?

What do you think? Is this happening in your local races?
